Demolition of the façade of the building at Mannerheimintie 14 will begin

The demolition of the building, which has reached the end of its life cycle, has been ongoing for some time. This week the results of the work will begin to be visible from the outside as the demolition of the building’s facade starts on Monday 4th March, 2024. 

The demolition is set to conclude in August 2024 to be followed by excavation work on the site. After it has been done, the construction of the frame of the new building will start in November. The new Signe building will be completed in autumn 2026.
