Mannerheimintie-side street area reopened, with further traffic arrangements planned later this year – Iki restaurant to open before Christmas
Years of work and anticipation are gradually becoming a reality as Signe begins to come to life over the coming months at 14 Mannerheimintie. Occupants will start moving into the office premises in January 2027, but even before then, a high-quality restaurant will open within the building.
Traffic arrangements on the Mannerheimintie side of the site have been removed
The Mannerheimintie street area located in front of the construction site has now reopened to normal traffic following the removal of the temporary traffic arrangements associated with the construction of Signe. However, the staircase located in front of Signe on Kalevankatu will remain part of the construction site for the time being.
During the construction period, the traffic arrangements on Mannerheimintie helped ensure the safe operation of the site and the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and other road users.
As tenant relocations by PwC and Bird & Bird progress, there will be further changes to the area’s traffic arrangements later this year. We will provide more detailed information on their impacts in due course.
Iki restaurant to open before Christmas
The new high-class restaurant Iki will open its doors at Signe before Christmas. The restaurant is operated by MW Dining, and its concept combines East Asian culinary traditions with Nordic ingredients and flavours. In the future, Iki will serve both the occupants of Signe and visitors to the city centre, further enhancing Signe’s diverse range of services.
