About the project
Real estate asset management company Sponda is planning a new high-quality office and business property in central Helsinki at Mannerheimintie 14. This is a location where premium design is combined with the principles of sustainable construction. The new building, complementing the cityscape of Helsinki and honouring urban culture, will better correspond to consumer and business needs far into the future. The new building will attract businesses to central Helsinki and help promote the vibrancy of the city centre.
Sustainability and energy-efficiency as well as the comfort and adaptability of premises played a key role in the assessment of the potential development alternatives of the property and the design of the new building. The new building was designed in accordance with the highest environmental standards, and we aim for, among other things, a LEED Platinum environmental certification, WELL certification and A-level energy classification. Sponda is committed to sustainable demolition green deal agreement, and as much as 99 per cent of demolition waste will be recycled and reused in the project.
